The Lemonade Diet, also known as the Master Cleanse or Maple Syrup Diet, was developed by the late Stanley Burroughs as a detoxification and fasting program. Originally intended to rid the body of toxins and internal wastes brought on by “improper diet, lack of exercise, and negative mental attitude,” it’s now also touted as a quick weight loss plan.

Lemon Diet first steps:
The first thing is to make a special lemonade, which you will need to for the detoxifying day – drink only water, herbal teas and special lemonade.
You can eat fruits, vegetables and other foods that will help you get rid of toxins and diet to start the diet “from scratch”.
Lemon Diet Recipe:
Juice of 1-2 lemons
300 ml. filtered water
2 tsp maple syrup (or cinnamon stick)
Pinch of cayenne extract (red hot pepper)
Mix all ingredients without the extract of cayenne. Stir well and add extract. Do not forget that lemonade should be stored at room temperature.
Lemon Diet with Detoxifying vegetable soup:
1 stalk celery
1 handful of peas
Cut all retail products. In saucepan of boiling water, add carrots, celery and onion. After 5 minutes, add radishes, peas and dill. Reduce heat and allow soup to simmer for 10-15 minutes. The dish is ready!
